COLLABORATIVE BOARD RETREAT WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT AND KEY STAKEHOLDERS ON

Today,
the KEMSA board chaired by Mr. Samuel Tunai kicked off a collaborative meeting
bringing together senior management and key stakeholders from Social Health
Authority (SHA), E-Citizen Directorate, Digital Health Agency to discuss areas
that require alignment.
Tunai
underscored the importance of deepening collaboration to fasttrack achievement
of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). He emphasized the value of accountability,
stating, _“It is important that we lead from a space of accountability.”_
KEMSA
CEO Dr. Waqo Ejersa highlighted the organization's key achievements in 2024,
including:
1.
Implementation of Elocks to ensure
product safety during transit. -Deployment of data loggers to maintain cold
chain integrity during transportation.
2.
Recognition with two prestigious
awards at the Global Health Supply Chain Summit and KEMSA Choir.
3.
Development of an advanced ERP
system to enhance transparency and accountability across the supply chain.
This meeting served as a reaffirmation of KEMSA’s
dedication to transforming health supply chains and delivering on its mandate
to improve the lives of Kenyans.
