The highlight of this month’s observance was the launch of a comprehensive 5-day cancer screening and HPV vaccination exercise in Nakuru County, aimed at improving early detection and reducing the burden of cervical cancer.
Dr. Kenneth Bukachi, who represented KEMSA, emphasized the crucial role the Authority plays in ensuring availability of high-quality cancer Health Products and Technologies. He highlighted the importance of collaborating with key stakeholders to make a significant impact in the fight against cancer.
This partnership underscores the collective effort to combat cervical cancer, urging women to take control of their health by getting screened, staying informed, and actively participating in their healthcare journey.
