KEMSA Sales and Marketing and SSD Hold Quarterly Performance Review
11/3/2025

The Authority has embarked on a five-day engagement exercise focused on reviewing KEMSA's Sales and Marketing Department, as well as the Supplementary Service Division (SSD) performance for 2024. This review is in response to feedback gathered from various county heads across Kenya.
The event, themed Rising to the Challenge, brings together Regional Sales Executives who will share invaluable insights aimed at addressing the counties' Health Products and Technologies wish list. Additionally, they will also present a series of strategies designed to enhance customer experience throughout 2025.
KEMSA’s Commercial Director, Mr. Eliud Muriithi, emphasized the importance of setting clear, realistic targets, with a keen focus on aggressive debt collection. He noted that this will be crucial in restoring the authority’s financial stability. Furthermore, he stressed the need to promote the SSD to expand the client base and ensure continuous customer engagement, reinforcing KEMSA’s position as the preferred supplier for all public health facilities.
Mr. Muriithi also underscored the significance of sustained revenue growth, which is vital in maintaining and expanding stock availability to meet the ever-increasing health needs of the counties.
KEMSA delivers medical supplies to over 12,000 health facilities and HIV testing sites across the country.
