KEMSA Hosts Angola Health Delegation for Supply Chain Benchmarking

KEMSA today hosted a delegation from Angola’s Ministry of Health at the National Supply Chain Centre, Embakasi, for a benchmarking visit on strengthening health supply chain systems.

Led by Dr. Job Monteiro, the delegation engaged with KEMSA’s integrated model serving over 9,000 health facilities across all 47 counties, with direct last mile delivery. Sessions led by Director, Logistics Management, Dr. Gloria Kigen, on behalf of CEO Dr. Waqo Ejersa, highlighted how technology-driven logistics, real-time visibility and coordinated distribution sustain efficiency, transparency and nationwide reach.

KEMSA’s scale continues to deliver impact, with pooled procurement and centralized distribution driving down costs, securing competitive pricing and improving affordability of essential medicines while ensuring consistent supply across the country.
